We’re a family-run, family-friendly wedding & event venue specialising in facilitating high quality, relaxed events with a reasonable price tag. We believe your day should involve lots of laughter, love and zero stress.
Tabula Rasa is the realisation of our dream of creating a space in NZ that families could get together to celebrate and be together.
Being from a large close knit family, all our lives we created celebrations and moments for our entire family, made memories together. When we came to NZ, we missed that and wanted to extend our home to others to create their memories and moments. Hence the name “Tabula Rasa’ which means blank slate or new chapter. We wanted to create a space that allowed families and couples to start their new chapters with great memories.
We’re now proud to say our venue has not only hosted hundreds of beautiful weddings, but a large number of birthdays, engagement parties, wedding anniversaries, meetings and even a music festival! Seeing the joy on the faces of our guests at each and every event is truly special and everything we dreamed of when we started Tabula Rasa.
